This deliverable describes the work done in WINNER towards the ITU-R defining the spectrum requirements for future development of IMT-2000 and IMT-Advanced (WRC-07 agenda Item 1.4). The purpose of the document is to describe the WINNER work for the different steps of spectrum requirement calculation process of the ITU –R WP 8F and to give deeper background of the ITU work itself. The document also analyses the views of WINNER and ITU-R regarding the amount of spectrum required for enabling the services visioned for the future and to support the rapidly increasing amount of wireless subscribers.
